I'm slowly working on getting my site designed and functioned, but right now i'm wondering why it loads so slowly, and time outs often compared to other opn sites i visit. Check it out at www.the-apples.com then hit the blog link, tell me if ya'll have any clues why it runs so slow....the server hosting it is a Mac OSX 10.2 server if that info helps.

in irc chat we figured out that its caused by the database server.

It was somewhat slow here.....
Check your MySQL server for locking issues....
