you can select the installation language in step 1. There is (should be) an "english" link to click and the installtion will display the messages in english.

If there is no english link in step 1, please let me know.

PS: please specify what the x in your PHP Version is.

I am having issues installing on Apache 2, php4.3.x and MySQL 4.2 on Windows.

I think the biggest issue I have is that the install is in German or some langauge other than English, and I dont know what to put for certain items.

I got as far as the MySQL DB information screen, but when tried to go past that, it gave me an error, and I dont know what the error was, b/c I couldnt read the error message.

Is there an English install version?!
