1.) no, it depends on .php as extension. You would have to rename it in many many many files
2.) I think it would be easier to change it in httpd.conf

Same problems.
Windows Server 2000
Apache 2
PHP 5
Read post on similar topic, suggested using lower version of PHP. I can do that, but because I already have several PHP 5 apps, I'll need to have Apache register .php4 to run on the lower install.
1. Can PHP Nuke work with changed file extensions?
2. Will I have to change all extensions, and if so, will I need to tweak the Code throughout the application?

I also have the same problem.
Using IIS6, Windows server 2003, mysql4.3 and php5.
Please help as this CMS looks like it could be great!

The versionnumber will be fixed. It was a typo when the updated 2.2.6 was packed.
For your problem I need some infos:
- PHP version
- Apache or IIS
- Apache or IIS version
- Exists the database where you install OPN?
- Local operating system
- Did you allow cookies and javascript?

I forgot to add when I download I got was 2.2.6 but It says 2.2.5 on installation.

After step 6 it says Now the tables / index / data of OPN will be created. Then...nothing it stops loading says nothing else and tables are not created.
